#(p)rethinkeurope 2022 –
Bavaria’s first virtual state reception

Thinking in new ways requires courage, but above all freedom, openness and a change of perspective. This also includes looking beyond borders. So where would there be better conditions for innovative entrepreneurship than in Europe – and thus especially in Bavaria?

Despite this particularly good starting point, we Europeans repeatedly reach our limits and sometimes leave ourselves dependent on other regions of the world in sectors of the future. What is the reason for this? How can we become even better here?

These topics are on the agenda of Bavaria’s first virtual state reception on 10 January 2022, which will take place as part of the #(p)rethinkeurope initiative.

Leading personalities from business, science and politics will meet in the online panel. They will discuss what makes Bavaria strong in and for Europe – and what it needs to be even more successful globally. The participants:

  • Melanie Huml, Bavarian State Minister for European Affairs and International Affairs
  • Manfred Weber, Chairman of the EPP Group
  • Prof. Dr. Ulrich Bartosch, President of the University of Passau
  • Dr. Fritz Audebert, Chairman of the Board, ICUnet.Group

Also on the agenda: The premiere of the video project “Der Fremde” and musical accompaniment by the Sturmberger Feiertagsmusi.

#(p)rethinkeurope is a series of f2f and virtual events in Passau and offers a platform for constructive exchange between European business, science and politics.
