Indian Consulate Frankfurt: From now on every visa applicant (also German) needs to bring a certificate of residence
From Thursday 16th the Indian Consulate in Frankfurt requires a copy from the certificate of residence or a clearly legible copy of the identity card (front and back) for every German visa application. This regulation affects applicants who live in North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland as they have to solicitude the visa there. China abolishes employment permit requirements for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan residents
On August 3, 2018, the State Council communicated, that residents from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan (“HMT residents”) no longer need to obtain an employment permit to work in mainland China. The announcement instructs the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (HRSS), to implement substitute policies and measures to supervise the employment of these HMT residents. Employment services, social security, unemployment registration, and protection of labour rights and benefits will be covered by those policies and measures.
